December is an emotional roller coaster for many of us! The holidays are just around the corner, everyone is out shopping, it’s overcrowded, every store has been playing Christmas music since the beginning of November, you’re finding the perfect gifts for everyone, Santa is all over the place, the pretty lights, the fluffy snow, hot chocolate, family gatherings, having family missing from the gathering—it’s exhausting! I love watching others open their gifts, the look of pure glee on their faces when they get what they wanted, the anticipation of it all, traditions carried on from generation to generation. I love Christmas!
Of course there are other things happening in December:

- Nat’l letter writing day – when was the last time you wrote a letter? Do you miss those days?
- Gingerbread House day – how about a contest? Send me pictures (no more than 5) of your family making gingerbread houses and the winner gets 50% off a 30 minute photoshoot! Deadline for pictures is December 11, with winner being announced on the 12th.
- Anti-bullying Day – anti-bullying should be an EVERY day thing! Stand up to a bully, help out the underdog, be part of the solution. WEAR PINK!
- Nat’l Ugly Sweater Day – Photoshoots with ugly sweaters! 15-30 minutes
- Winter Solstice or First Day of Winter – brrrrr

- New Year’s Eve
